I do love a good word. And I love a new word (to me). I was delighted to discover the above word last year.
Sagacious: showing good judgment, understanding, and discernment, making someone appear wise, shrewd, or insightful, often in difficult situations.
And I shared it with a few people who agreed this was a good word to describe a later life organiser. We work with clients and their families, and many suppliers (stakeholders for the corporate readers). And we have to fight our clients’ corner on many occasions. We need to see through any bluff and bluster and cut to the chase quickly, making sure their best interests are always at the forefront of what we do. A difficult situation often appears, and we make the best of it when it does because we’re here to help.
