So the ‘big day’ is nearly on us and if you haven’t yet got all of your presents you might need some help. So here are a few suggestions for places to get presents both online and offline.
Online:
- www.Etsy.com : there is always something for everyone here and every budget – just type in the gender and age and something the person is into in the search box, and hey presto, lots of ideas.
- https://www.indytute.com/: a gift experience website with a difference – handpicked and often from independent companies. So much to choose from, and if you are buying for a couple, this is a great shout.
- https://www.findmeagift.co.uk/: lots of choice for stocking fillers and bigger presents.
- For those who have everything why not adopt a Koala or Elephant, a guide dog, or whatever their favourite is. Plenty to choose from, just have a Google.
At a shop (offline!):
- If you are buying for someone who loves books, why not individually wrap up 12 books from the charity shop and write the months of the year on them. It’s the gift that keeps on giving!
- You can make your own hamper when you’re going shopping – just get some small bits from Flying Tiger, supermarkets, delis, buy a box and add some hamper filling (from Hobby Craft, Etsy, Amazon).
- Local independent retailers will be doing gift sets so do pop in and see what they have to offer and support independent shops.
- Garden centres always have lovely gifts that aren’t just for those who are green-fingered, so have a look at your nearest.
